JUSTROM was presented as an example of one of the Council of Europe project's with a strong gender component at the regional conference of the PGG Project 'Strengthening Access to Justice for Women Victims of Violence in the Six Eastern Partnership Countries'.
Under session 2 on 'The road so far: taking stock of the progress made on Women's Access to Justice in the six Eastern Partnership countries and beyond', the JUSTROM Project Officer explained how gender was mainstreamed during the inception and implementation cycles of the project. Particular emphasis was done on the intersectional component of the JUSTROM Joint Programme.
Participants show high interested in the project and follow up exchanges highlighted the relevance of mainstreaming gender in projects.
