Brief description of the practice: This guide is focused on the use of the Spanish language in sport organisations’ sets of norms, educational materials and communication. It provides examples of sexist language and how to avoid it, incorporating a gender perspective in written communication. After analysing many different examples, mainly from the Basque administration, several general conclusions are drawn, highlighting some of the most recurring issues and offering solutions to eliminate sexist language and combat stereotypes.
