Brief description of the practice: The main objective of the booklet was to inform the stakeholders about the procedures involved when sexual violence occurs. It contains information about the formal procedures of relevant bodies and institutions in cases of sexual violence, i.e. police bodies, health institutions, judicial bodies and others working in the field of fighting against sexual violence and providing support to those subjected to sexual violence. The booklet also provides information on the means of co-operation between relevant institutions and bodies that are involved in the disclosure and prevention of sexual violence, as well as assistance and protection from sexual violence, for example in relation to the mental health of victims, listing the institutionalised and non-institutionalised help and support systems, and the requirements for providing protection of victims’ mental health.
