Enhancing the knowledge inclusive education for trainers of the National Institute of Justice

Trainers of the National Institute of Justice have broadened their knowledge on inclusive education during a two half-day online training of trainers.

The event held on 15-16 December, focused on the international legal framework (United Nations Convention on Rights of People with Disabilities, European Convention on Human Rights, the Revised European Social Charter) relevant to inclusive education. The sessions included the analysis of cases pertaining to inclusive education, examined by the European Court for Human Rights. Trainees analysed cases that they have encountered in their professional experience as well as the situation of inclusive education in the Republic of Moldova.

This training was carried out jointly with the National Institute of Justice within the framework of the project ”Strengthening the capacities of the justice sector actors to deliver justice in line with European standards, in particular to fight discrimination in the Republic of Moldova,” funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II.
