Seven members of the Tunisian national authority against trafficking reviewed the national referral mechanism (NRM) for the identification and protection of victims of trafficking in the course of workshop organised in Paris from 12 to 14 June 2017. The referral mechanism is a framework for cooperation between authorities and civil society organisations in the identification, referral, assessment and support of victims of trafficking. The course was structured around multiple roundtable discussions during which the Tunisian delegation were able to explore the experiences of other countries in the identification and referral of victims.
