Tunisia to participate as an observer in the Council of Europe’s Commission for the Efficiency of Justice

In accordance with the provisions of the three Neighbourhood Partnerships (with Morocco, Tunisia and Jordan) adopted on the 4 February 2015 by the CoE Committee of Ministers, and the South programme II cooperation framework, the Committee of Ministers has granted Tunisia an observer status at the Council of Europe’s European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) on 1st April 2015. This will make of Tunisia the 3rd non-member state privileged with observer status (next to Israel and Morocco) in the sessions and work of the CEPEJ.
