The Council of Europe, in cooperation with the University of Hassan II Casablanca, delivered a training course on the fight against trafficking in human beings on 2-3 May 2017, in Casablanca.
Some 17 doctoral students and 15 professors analysed the fundamentals of conceptual and legal frameworks, including the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. Participants had the opportunity to examine the different forms of trafficking, the types of victims the main features of and factors facilitating such exploitations. The session was concluded with an overview of trafficking within the local context.
