The Consultative Council of European Prosecutors collection of opinions is now available in Armenian and it was presented in Yerevan on 15 November 2024 with the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Moldova.
During the presentation of the translation, the importance of having this document available in Armenian and the specifics related to the practical application of the Opinions were highlighted.
Anna Vardapetyan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, emphasised the significance of the Consultative Council of European Prosecutors in shaping prosecutorial activities through the development and adoption of opinions on critical issues. She highlighted that access to these Opinions enables prosecutors to align their work with the standards of the Council of Europe, ensuring consistency within domestic legal systems. "I am confident that this publication will become the handbook for prosecutors working in Armenia," - said Anna Vardapetyan, expressing her gratitude to the European Union, the Council of Europe, and the officials for their effective co-operation.
The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia emphasised that the co-operation of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia with the European Union and the Council of Europe has strong traditions and, especially in recent years, has entered a qualitatively new phase of development.
