Diversity – Inclusion issues

School has various diversity issues, from students from minorities, such as Roma and Albanian students, students with intellectual and mental disabilities. There are many students from rural areas and from poor families. The strongest diversity issue is cultural and social integration of economically deprived students from Roma minority, adding up to the language difficulties and often family problems.

Level of inclusive practices/experience

School has quite impressive insights and experience with inclusive education. They have also participated in the ETF project on similar topic in the past, and the school management and staff has been sensitized for the topic. They need further training and support in working with Roma students.

Other issues

School has recently had a change in management – School Principal, but it shouldn't influence the implementation of the Project, since the new Principal seemed very interested and motivated.
