3rd Steering Committee meeting

The 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the EU-CoE JP Emerald Network Phase II (2013-2016), targeting Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and the the Russian Federation, has been held in Strasbourg on 14 January. It reviewed the achievements of the project’s objectives, the lessons learnt by the 7 target countries, and the outcomes of the biogeographical seminars. It also planned activities for 2016 and discussed the future of the Joint Project after its end in October 2016. The Steering Committee brought together national authorities and project leaders of the seven target countries, as well as representatives of the Council of Europe and of the European Commission.
