On 25 December 2016, Goris City Council approved the “Development Strategy of Goris for 2017-2021”. The original vision of ‘ensuring socio-economic growth of Goris based on creative industries and tourism development’ was reframed with the consideration of the COMUS Reference Plan. 

The new adopted vision reads as ‘“Goris Community will become a creative hub through its cultural heritage and the rich potential of IT industry. Infrastructures modernization and the creation of environment for healthy living will promote favorable residence and work conditions to foster sustainable balanced development”.

This positive change took place through series of meetings with Local Stakeholders Group and the high quality work of COMUS Project Implementation Unit.
