On 5 June 2017 COMUS National Stakeholders meeting took place at the Ministry of Culture moderated by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Head of COMUS Inter-Ministerial Working Group Ms Arev SAMUELYAN. National Coordinator Gohar Grigoryan and Project Officer Sarhat Petrosyan presented the Project, elaborated technical documents (Reference Plans for 2 Pilot Towns Gyumri and Goris, 5 Preliminary Technical files and 2 Feasibility Studies for each Pilot Towns, brochures and films).

NSG members were informed that Goris declared as the CIS Cultural Capital 2018 also because of COMUS Goris PIU efforts, where the proposal was drafted with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. Another achievement was underlined that Preliminary Technical Assessments and Feasibility Studies developed by the COMUS local and international experts were included in the Kumayri Historic Centre Rehabilitation Programme which is a unique public-private partnership carrying out by the Government of Armenia.

National Stakeholders positively determined the Project and its outcomes and suggested to use the methodology of the COMUS in different projects and in the different towns development strategies.
