“Inside the walls of this town one could rehabilitate oneself quickly felling like wings are growing behind”. Bohdan Voloshyn, modern writer and journalist, about Zhovkva

Zhovkva  has a rich architecture and cultural heritage with  numerous monuments of local, national and international significance concentrated in  small areas . At its foundation, the town was based on ideal architectural principles from  European towns. The combination of unique religious complexes, including  the wooden Church of St. Trinity, the Dominican monastery, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence and the Jewish Synagogue, with Zhovkva Castle and historic residential blocks create an incomparable atmosphere of comfort, security and beauty.

COMUS brings  new opportunities to Zhovka : wider promotion in the European region, high quality expertise in strategic planning and investment ideas development, exchanges of experiences with similar towns as well as creative partnership developments. COMUS project could be a starting point for infrastructural transformations in historic town.

As Bohdan Voloshyn, modern writer and journalist, notes: “Inside the walls of this town one could rehabilitate oneself quickly felling like wings are growing behind”.
