The Routes4U project has been launched in the framework of the joint programme between the Council of Europe (Directorate General of Democracy) and the European Union (European Commission – DG REGIO).

The 30-Month project (2017-20) enhances regional development through the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in the Baltic Sea, the Danube, the Adriatic and Ionian and the Alpine Region. These EU Macro-Regions encompass 27 countries with more than 340 million people.
