On 28-29 August 2024 the Working Group for monitoring the implementation of acts of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine gathered in Kyiv some 40 staff members of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine to address the issues relating to the implementation of the acts of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
Discussions focused on monitoring and ways of improvement of the implementation of decisions of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
In that context, the participants benefited from the experience of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia in particular.
Through the Partnership for Good Governance (PGG) project “Support to the development of constitutional justice in Ukraine”, the European Union and the Council of Europe support the development of constitutional justice and strengthen the functioning of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine in line with European standards, contributing to more efficient procedures and increased quality of legal interpretation with due regard to the applicable standards, including those based on the European Convention on Human Rights and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.
