Trainers of the National Institute of Justice of the Republic of Moldova enhanced their knowledge on reasonable accommodation

8 trainers of the National Institute of Justice have broadened their knowledge on reasonable accommodation within an online training of trainers.

The training session held on November 24th, focused on the international legal framework and the case law of the European Court of Human Rights pertaining to discrimination based on disability and reasonable accommodation. The trainees analysed various case studies on disability-based discrimination and reasonable accommodation as well as cases that they have encountered in their professional experience and the situation of reasonable accommodation in the Republic of Moldova.

This training was carried out jointly with the National Institute of Justice within the framework of the project "Strengthening the capacities of the justice sector actors to deliver justice in line with European Standards, in particular to fight discrimination in the Republic of Moldova" funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II (2019-2022).
