The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) experts have started the evaluation of the administrative organisation of the Georgian courts and its non-judicial staff with a view to developing recommendations and guidelines concerning the evaluation of non-judicial staff. The analysis of the situation regarding the collection and processing of court statistics in Georgia was also initiated, with the aim of standardising the approach and improving the collection.
This activity is being implemented in the framework of the Joint European Union/Council of Europe Project "Implementation of Judicial Reforms in Georgia", component "Enhancing the accountability and the efficiency of the judicial system and the professionalism of lawyers" (PGG II), co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe.
