Presentation of the Analysis on how CEPEJ methods can be applied on judicial statistics in Georgia

The European Commission for the Efficiency of Justice (CEPEJ) organised an online seminar to present the analysis of existing data and statistical reporting processes to demonstrate the use of CEPEJ methods to guide and support policy and managerial capacity required for the creation of statistics module in Georgian courts, .

This seminar was attended by court personnel in charge of statistics, representatives of the Management Department of the High Council of Justice of Georgia and by the Supreme Court judge Nino Bakakuri (CEPEJ member for Georgia).

Experts presented their report and its recommendations about judicial data management in Georgia and suggested a model of analysed court data management system.

This activity was organised in the framework of the project “Enhancing the accountability and the efficiency of the judicial system and the professionalism of lawyers”, funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe in their Partnership for Good Governance II.
