A training session for collaborators of the Association of Ombudsmen and Mediators of the Francophonie (AOMF) centred on simplification of administrative procedures for the access to public services was held on 5 – 7 May in Rabat.
The training – organised by the CoE’s Venice Commission in partnership with the AOMF and Morocco’s Institute of Ombudsman – aimed to share a better understanding of European best practices on administrative procedures among practitioners as well as to discuss main problems and possible improvements.
The session saw the participation of experts from the two shores of the Mediterranean, and covered a wide range of topics, stretching from the presentation of the European experience and the analysis of possible obstacles and problems, to the formulation of recommendations for a greater simplification of administrative procedures.
