Roundtable “Constitutional Court of Ukraine: implementation of constitutional amendments”, organized by the Centre for Legal and Political Reforms and Reanimation Package of Reforms (RPR) and supported by the joint EU/CoE Joint Project “Consolidation of Justice Sector Policy Development in Ukraine”, was held on 12 September 2016 in Kyiv.

The Roundtable was aimed at discussing the new reading of the Law "On Constitutional Court of Ukraine", in particular, the procedure of the competition for the position of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, the procedure of the application of the new authority of the Constitutional Court – consideration of the Constitutional complaints as well as other issues related to the implementation of the Constitutional amendments of June 2, 2016.

The event was attended by the representatives of the Constitutional Court, members of the Parliament, representatives of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine, member of the Judicial Reform Council, Ministry of Justice, High Council of Justice, civil society organizations, active scientific and expert community.

The participants of the Roundtable got acquainted with international and European best practices, presented by the experts from Georgia and Hungary.
