The joint project European Union and Council of Europe "Community-Led Urban Strategies in Historic Towns" (COMUS) was officially launched during the regional conference which took place in Tbilisi (Georgia) on 17-18 September 2015. COMUS was presented together with the other cultural initiatives supported by the European Union as part of the Eastern Partnership Culture Programme II. Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Culture from the five participating countries to COMUS (Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine), as well as the Mayors and Deputy Mayors from the 8 pilot towns, attended the event.
