On 15-17 June 2016, Chisinau hosted the International Conference: “The Romanian cultural heritage: management, restoration and enhancement problems”. Ms. Monica Babuc, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova, opened the floor, followed by Mr. Sergiu Nistor, Presidential adviser in the Romanian Presidential Administration, and Mr. Nicolae Brinzea, Deputy General Director of the “Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” Institute for the diaspora.
The event brought specialists of culture and heritage protection from Romania and Romanian communities of Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine and Hungary together. The conference focused on the management of immovable, tangible and intangible heritage, complemented by relevant case studies. During the session on “Management and enhancement of the immovable cultural heritage”, Ms. Dumitrita Efremov introduced the COMUS Soroca experience.
