The 4th Regional Workshop on Heritage Management which took place in Yerevan and Gyumri (Armenia), on 22-23 September 2016, gathered around 25 COMUS pilot town representatives together in order to introduce their respective heritage management local units.

Mr. Matthias Ripp, the World Heritage Coordinator of Regensburg (Germany) and OWHC Regional Division Representative moderated the event which aimed at raising awareness and strengthening capacities around heritage management.

The workshop was completed by site visits to UNESCO World Heritage Site Ejmiatsin-Zvartnots, COMUS Pilot Town Gyumri and Ashtarak historic town, which was one of Kyiv Initiative (PP2) towns.
