EDC/HRE Coordinators from Finland, Ireland and France met in Paris on 29 July 2013 to discuss in detail the implementation of the pilot project "Three Country Audit of the Lower Secondary EDC/HRE Curriculum". This was set up within the EU/CoE Pilot Project Scheme "Human Rights and Democracy in Action".

The partner countries agreed on the outline of the research on curricula and on curricula development in the participating countries which will lead to an assessment tool of the degree of correlation between the principles of the Council of Europe Charter on Education for Democratic Citizenship and Human Rights Education and the curricula and their implementation at school level.

The partner countries also decided upon the next steps.
