Quality education for all – 20 mentor schools prepared for evaluation of new schools and self-evaluation

40 educational professionals from 20 mentor schools received on 14 – 15 September a training in order to prepare and carry out self-evaluation and evaluation of 39 new project schools that joined the action “Quality education for all” in 2019. The training, organised within this joint European Union and Council of Europe action Quality education for all, helped educators prepare methodology and evaluation plan that will enable them to successfully conduct project evaluation and integration of Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture (RFCDC) in all participating schools. The training was overseen by the State Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and Head of group for minority rights in education.

Council of Europe trainers moderated the process and supervised development of evaluation methodology. Once finished, the evaluation findings will be compared with the baseline in order to determine change and degree of RFCDC adoption in both new and mentor schools.

The action Quality education for all is implemented under the joint European Union/Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022“.
