Secretary General Marija Pejčinović Burić and European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Olivér Várhelyi have launched on 27 February 2023 the “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Türkiye” 2023-2026 as well as the “Partnership for Good Governance” (PGG) 2023-2027: two major co-operation programmes between the European Union and the Council of Europe. 

There was also an exchange of views on the co-operation partnership between the two organisations.
