The South Neighbourhood Anti-Corruption Project (SNAC 2) organised a regional training on mutual legal assistance (MLA) in corruption and economic crime case for Jordanian and Palestinian authorities on 06-08 November 2017, in Amman. The workshop, which has equally served as a networking opportunity, brought six prosecutors and law enforcement officials from both countries to further their knowledge on the effective use of MLA tools for intelligence sharing and seizure of criminal assets. The mix of practical case studies with tutorials enabled participants to delve into ongoing MLA cases while simultaneously working on the quality of their MLA requests and search for information.
