Training of Trainers on Human Rights training methodology

On 7-9 July 2017, 25 trainers of the Justice Academy improved their knowledge and skills on human rights training methodology. The training of trainers (ToT) aimed at strengthening the capacity of the Justice Academy to deliver human rights courses prepared with the support of the project.

During the ToT the trainers were equipped with tools and techniques essential for the delivery of high quality trainings in human rights topics. The trainers became familiar with the whole training cycle management process, improved their presentation skills and strengthened capability to conduct training.  The training provided a perfect opportunity to obtain new methodology skills and exchange experience with the international consultants.

The participants also had the opportunity to link the acquired knowledge with their current practice and further on enhance their capacities. Based on the acquired knowledge trainers of the Justice Academy will be able to design their own case studies and training programmes for teaching human rights courses.

The ToT was organised within the scope of the Project on “Supporting the criminal justice reform and combating ill-treatment and impunity in Armenia”, funded within the European Union and Council of Europe Partnership for Good Governance (formerly Programmatic Cooperation Framework) in the Eastern Partnership Countries for 2015-2017 in cooperation with HELP team.
