An expert of the Venice Commission took part in a workshop on out-of-country voting of the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee on Electoral Reform which was organised with the support of the OSCE Presence in Albania. This workshop brought together the Co-chairs and members of the Ad Hoc Committee on Electoral Reform, the Chair and members of the Central Election Commission, representatives of the relevant public administrations, CSOs and international organisations present in Tirana as well as national and international experts on out-of country voting. Participants discussed, on the basis of the report prepared by the expert of the Venice Commission, different options for the introduction of out-of-country voting in the Albanian electoral system.
