In the frame of its work on recognition of youth work and non-formal learning/education, the EU-CoE youth partnership is currently developing a Mapping of recognition tools and practices and a Compendium of testimonies and stories on the impact of youth work and non-formal learning/education (working titles). To do so, the authors need your support, for it is about sharing and promoting your practice, your tools, and your stories… Without you this work cannot be done. Hence, we count on your contribution! The deadline to apply is 15th of June 2014 using the appropriate contribution form.

Council of Europe addresses member states to ensure full inclusion of children and young people with disabilities
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe adopted the Recommendation CM/Rec(2013)2 on ensuring full inclusion of children and young persons with disabilities into society on October 16, 2013. This calls on a better entrenchment in national legislations, to give more rights to children as well as young people with disabilities.
The 4th Global Conference Childhood (17th to 19th July 2014, Oxford, UK) as an inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary conference project seeks to investigate and explore all aspects of childhood. The organisers encourage submissions on any theme to do with the nature of childhood. Deadline for submission: 14th February 2014.
