Study Session "Mind your Language!"

  1. We are looking for participants, interested in minority and regional languages issues, for the study session “Mind your Language”.

The Study Session is run by: the Youth Peace Ambassadors Network, Phiren Amenca and the Youth of European Nationalities (YEN).

The study session will take place at the European Youth Centre in Budapest from 19 April to 26 April 2015 including travel dates. Interested participants, who fit the profile, should fill in the application form and send it before January 12, 2015 to using the subject line: Study Session “Mind your Language”.

The 2014 inventory update, compiled in co-operation with the European Commission, closely reflects the European guidelines on validation. It includes 36 reports for 33 countries, eight in-depth thematic reports, two case studies and a synthesis report of main findings. The reports present information up to January 2014.

A new report from the World Bank and the Center for Mediterranean Integration maps out the sources of this ongoing disenfranchisement and offers suggestions on the holistic approach needed to overcome them.
