Expert Seminar on Learning Mobility Quality Standards: Call for Rapporteur, Facilitator, Expert on Quality and Author of a Desk-Research
Related to the work of the European Platform on Learning Mobility (EPLM), an expert seminar will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 15-17 June 2016. Its goals are:
- to collect, systematise and analyse existing knowledge on different formats of learning mobility (formal, non-formal and informal) for young learners;
- to consider the qualitative elements related to such experiences;
- to initiate a reflection on a quality framework in learning mobility, possibly including elements such as standards, indicators or criteria for assessment.
Researchers previously involved in the learning mobility researchers’ meetings and other relevant experts, including practitioners and policy makers, will meet to discuss the topic.
The team of the partnership between the European Commission and the Council of Europe in the field of youth will invite 18 experts in quality, in learning mobility, and researchers to draw the basis for the drafting of a quality framework. We will welcome participants from different education areas to foster an exchange of expertise and strengthen the process.
The event will encompass two working days. It will be preceded and prepared by a research undergone by an appointed expert; it will be facilitated by an experienced facilitator; and a rapporteur will edit the final report. In order to enrich the discussion, we will ensure the presence of an expert in quality processes and design.
To submit your application, please send your CV and cover letter to the address email@example.com no later than 15 March 2016. The selection will be finalised by 18 March 2016.
