Intervention described and evaluated:
Youth CONNECT supports highly vulnerable young people aged from 15 to 25 years. It is a social benefit bond contracted service operated by Churches of Christ Queensland and established in late 2017. The Social Benefit Bond Pilot Program was instigated by the Queensland Government to experiment with impact investment in Queensland. The program runs till May 2024 with an expected cohort of 300 young people in three large geographic areas centred on Logan, Ipswich and
Townsville.
Methodological approach:
The process evaluation includes analysis of feedback from over 80 stakeholders through interviews, focus groups and surveys, as well as analysis of administrative data collected on the client management database.
