The “Sport For All” joint European Union — Council of Europe project will organise its second webinar on 24 March from 10am to 12.30pm CET. The event will explore media representation of persons with disabilities in Sport and provide a platform for exchange among researchers, journalists, sport institutions, advocates and athletes.

Discussions will focus on how persons with disabilities are represented in sports media and how these narratives are evolving, and the responsibilities of media and sport organisations. The webinar will conclude with practical recommendations for more inclusive sports media coverage.

Sport for All in brief

Inclusion is a fundamental principle and essential aim for both the Council of Europe (CoE) and the European Union (EU). The CoE and the EU are pursuing their co-operation in the field of inclusion in sport in the framework of the joint project “Sport For All” (March 2025 – August 2026).
