With the South Neighbourhood Anti-Corruption Project 3 (SNAC 3), implemented in the framework of the South Programme III, the Council of Europe enhances the capacities of judicial and law enforcement authorities specialised in the fight against corruption and economic crime. This training session on “Investigating proceeds of corruption and their laundering” held in Amman on 23-24 April was attended by the representatives of Palestinian* and Jordanian anti-corruption authorities. They enhanced their knowledge and skills on conducting investigations into proceeds of corruption as well as their laundering with a view to ensure their successful recovery and repatriation. Furthermore, it has allowed the participants to exchange experience and good practices at a sub-regional level taking into account the similar threats and challenges to anti-corruption efforts.
