2017/AO/47 - Call for tenders - 1 October 2017 - Consultancy Services in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Slovak Republic and the United Kingdom in the framework of the INSCHOOL EU/CoE Joint Project

The European Commission (EC) and Council of Europe (CoE) Joint Project “Inclusive schools: making a difference for Roma children (INSCHOOL)” aims at enhancing social inclusion of Roma by promoting inclusive education and training in 20 selected pilot schools in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, the Slovak Republic and the United Kingdom between October 2017 and January 2019. It will do so by setting up support mechanisms and resources for the pilot inclusive schools, by providing support to teachers to promote inclusion and improve learning outcomes of Roma children, by fostering stronger partnerships within each country and by raising awareness on the benefits of inclusive education for the general public as well as decision makers.

In each country, a team of trainers and educational advisors will be formed in order to ensure the implementation of the project at policy and practice levels. 

The present tendering procedure aims to create pools of experts to support the implementation of the project.

Trainers are expected to have:

  • Professional experience of at least seven years in inclusive education policies, practices and methodologies; in training and/or mentoring educational staff on inclusive education methodologies;
  • University Degree in relevant fields;
  • Excellent oral and written local language (at least level C1 of the CEFR) and a good knowledge of English (at least level B2 of the CEFR);

Educational Advisors are expected to have:

  • Professional experience of at least five years in working with inclusive education policies, practices and methodologies; in coordination and/or participation in working groups involving governmental representatives, civil society, academia, etc.; in analysing national policies related to education and identifying gaps in inclusive education for Roma children;
  • Excellent oral and written local language (at least level C2 of the CEFR) and excellent knowledge of English (at least level C2 of the CEFR)

AND In the form of the paper hardcopy in A4 format (21x29,7 cm) by post, as specified in the Tender File here attached.

The deadline for the submission of tenders is 01 October 2017  as evidenced by the postmark, or by the receipt of delivery provided by the dispatching company.
