On 7 May 2019, the second INSCHOOL National Workshop in the Czech Republic took place in Prague, within the premises of the House of National Minorities.

The focus of the national workshop was on the “Index for Inclusion: A Guide to School Development Led by Inclusive Values” (T. Booth & M. Ainscow, 2016), with the kind participation and contribution of one of its authors - Professor Tony Booth. The event provided schools and government officials with the opportunity to discuss and analyze the progress of the project at school level, with particular reference to the Index for Inclusion cycle.

The event benefitted from the presence and active participation of principals and staff members of the schools selected by INSCHOOL in the Czech Republic, representatives of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, but also from the Agency for Social Inclusion, Government Office, Ombudsman – Public Defender of Rights office, as well as civil society representatives (Muzeum of Roma Culture, Amnesty International, Czech Society for Inclusive Education and Romano Jasnica Tramice).
