“Quality education for all” launched in Montenegro

The first Steering Committee meeting for the action “Quality Education for All” took place on 17 September 2019 in Podgorica. The Action is part of the European Union/Council of Europe joint programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey II” and seeks to foster quality education for all in pre-university and higher education based on Council of Europe standards and practices.

The meeting was opened by the representatives of the Council of Europe and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro. It provided an opportunity to discuss achievements the previous actions in education and present the current project which builds on those achievements. The Committee will evaluate the Action’s implementation, assess the result achieved, review and, if necessary, adjust the work plan.

The Committee`s composition is drawn from key project partners, including the Ministry of Education, University of Montenegro, Bureau for Education Services, Anti-Corruption Agency, Centre for Vocational Education, Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education. The Committee`s meetings will be held every six months.
