Sarajevo film festival screens documentary on minorities

On 18 August, a Council of Europe and European Union documentary will be screened during the Sarajevo Film Festival. The documentary, “When we are fewer” gives an overview of the life of national minorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It looks at the lives of different members of national minorities, but also closely follows the implementation of the joint EU and Council of Horizontal Facility Action “Strengthening protection of national minorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina”. The film shows how five BiH cities/municipalities: Brcko, Prijedor, Prnjavor, Sarajevo and Tuzla implemented the small grants awarded by the action with the aim to promote the rights, culture, tradition and language of BiH national minorities in their cities.

The Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey is funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Council of Europe.
