Peer learning: lawyers of Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina visiting the Ombudsman of Serbia

One-week placement for two lawyers from the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina has been organised with the office of Human Rights Ombudsman of Serbia from 17 to 21 December 2018.

The focus of the visit was to exchange best practices related to their institutional efficiency, relationship with public stakeholders and civil sector, advocacy policies and Institutions’ activities in protection and remedying of citizen’s human rights, as well as strengthening regional co-operation.

The placements was organised within the action “Strengthening the Human Rights Ombudsman to fight discrimination”, which is being implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a part of the programme “Horizontal Facility for Western Balkans and Turkey” funded by the European Union and co-funded and implemented by the Council of Europe.
