The last of a series of four workshops for the students of the University of Montenegro, with a focus on academic integrity, took place on 12 May.
Workshops targeted students from different faculties of the University attending different stages of bachelor studies. The purpose of workshops was to draw the students’ attention to the newly adopted Law on Academic Integrity. Being the first of its kind in Europe, this piece of legislation is very important for students to understand the value of academic integrity standards, the current situation in the academic environment of Montenegro and proper ways of promoting the academic integrity culture.
Workshops also provided students with the opportunity to interactively participate in discussions related to topics of crucial importance for their future academic development and to provide them with answers to dilemmas they could have faced or will be facing in the course of their studies.
The event is organised within the European Union/Council of Europe Horizontal Facility Action “Strengthen integrity and combat corruption in higher education”.
