Gender Equality in sport – moving towards implementation

On 23 June in Paris, EPAS gathered together several of its member states who wish to play a part in a new CoE-EU joint project which is expected to be launched in January 2018. They also met with specialists from the sports movement and organisations promoting gender equality issues.  The meeting took a look back at the lessons learned by partners involved in Balance in Sport 2016 and prepared the road ahead for a wider-scale data collection project, with more tools, training and awareness raising initiatives likely to be the main aims of the 2018 project.
