Training course for the staff and members of the Moldovan Council for Prevention and Elimination of Discrimination and Ensuring Equality and for the staff of the Ombudsperson Office of the Republic of Moldova on discrimination on ground of sex and gender will be held in Chisinau on 31 May.

The participants will have a chance to learn more about the provisions of the Istanbul Convention on violence against women and domestic violence, and to analyse and discuss cases of gender based discrimination in the field of employment and in the field of family and private life.

The training is organised within the framework of the joint EU/CoE project “Supporting national efforts for prevention and combating discrimination in Moldova”.
