Support to the Georgian Bar Association: updated entrance examination software

Professional entrance examination session has been launched today at the Georgian Bar Association. This examination is a primary tool for selecting professional candidate lawyers, eventually allowing them to enter into the profession.  A well-construed, properly performed and balanced examination can contribute to the quality of the justice system. To this end, the Project has supported assessment and modernisation of the entrance examination system and the updated version has been successfully launched today. Exam sessions will be conducted in 3 sessions and will be adjourned on 9 June 2016.

This support was provided through the EU/CoE Joint Project "Support to the Georgian Bar Association", which is funded by the Programmatic Cooperation Framework for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus. The Council of Europe and European Union are working in partnership with Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus to help them meet European standards in human rights, democracy and the rule of law and improve the lives of citizens.
