New reference websites on the CEPEJ work in the framework of the co-operation programmes with the countries of the Eastern partnership

Since January 2015, the European Commission for the efficiency of justice (CEPEJ) cooperates with Azerbaijan, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine under a new Programmatic Cooperation Framework financed by the European Union and known as the “PCF”.

The aim of the involvement of the CEPEJ is to use its expertise to strengthen the independence and efficiency of justice in the partner countries. Concretely, the CEPEJ enables Heads of jurisdictions and persons entrusted with court management to get to know and use the methodology and tools developed by the CEPEJ concerning court organisation, collection and analysis of statistical data and improvement of the quality of services.

The CEPEJ also develops training modules for justice professionals. The PCF builds on the Council of Europe and European Union joint programme, "Enhancing judicial reform in the Eastern Partnership countries" which ended in December 2014.
