Launch of a new project for Eastern Partnership countries
The CoE/EU Eastern Partnership Programmatic Co-operation Framework (PCF) 2015 - 2017 Project “Fight against corruption and fostering good governance; fight against money-laundering” was launched on 12 May 2015, in Strasbourg, France. The event gathered 30 key Project partners from Eastern Partnership countries to review, discuss and adopt the Project Workplan of activities for 2015-2017.

The Project, co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe, and implemented by the Council of Europe, aims at supporting current reforms and further strengthening of capacities in the region with regard to fight against corruption, money laundering, and promotion of good governance. Its structure includes a Regional Component (involving all six Eastern Partnership countries) and Country Components for Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia and Ukraine.

The Project will build on the success of the previously implemented EaP 1 Project (2011-2014) which facilitated a number of anti-corruption reforms in partner countries.
