Journalistic trainings for school students

On 1 March 2017, the series of journalistic trainings have been launched in cooperation with the Azerbaijani newspaper Gurgistan, the Armenian newspaper Vtastan and the German newspaper Kaukasische Post. More than 200 students of secondary schools from Tbilisi and regions teaching German, Armenian and Azerbaijani languages interested in journalism will be involved in the trainings/workshops with a view of involving them on a regular basis as junior journalists, possibly leading to a professional training in the future. The trainings/workshops will take place on 4, 6,15, 25 March as well as  1, 2, 8 and 9 April 2017 in the premises of the mentioned newspapers. All the participants are handed branded bags and publications produces in the framework of the project. 

The trainings/workshops take place in the framework of the EU/Council of Europe Joint Programme “Civic Integration of National Minorities in Georgia and the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages”.
