Back Fighting cybercrime together

Fighting cybercrime together

How can Eastern Partnership countries work together to fight cybercrime? This is the topic that will be discussed at a project launch event in Bucharest, Romania (9-11 September 2015).

Subject-matter experts in judicial and police cooperation from the six EAP countries Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine – assisted by representatives of partner countries and organisations – will carry out a detailed review of the procedures and institutions related to international cooperation on cybercrime and electronic evidence.

This meeting is part of the joint project of the EU and the Council of Europe to Improve International Cooperation on Cybercrime in the Eastern Partnership Region (Cybercrime@EAP II). The Cybercrime@EAP II project is implemented by the Council of Europe’s Cybercrime Programme Office (C-PROC) in Romania.

The meeting will be open to the press from 9am to 1pm on Wednesday 9 September, Hotel Novotel. More information on the meeting can be found on its website.
