Do EaP countries have good laws for civil participation?

A two-day regional workshop looked at the initial findings of a draft regional study on the laws and policies on civil participation in the decision-making process in Eastern Partnership countries (2-3 March 2016).

Representatives of non-governmental orgainsations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus attend the workshop with Council of Europe experts. The draft regional study was discussed in detail and the timeline for the finalisation and publication of the regional study were confirmed.

The final version of the study will be presented and discussed at a regional conference in May 2016. This workshop is part of a Council of Europe/European Union regional project on 'Civil Participation in Decision-Making' it is part of the Programmatic Cooperation Framework for Eastern Partnership.
