Autumn School on Human Rights for judges and prosecuters in Moldova

On 14-17 November 2016, the Council of Europe (CoE) in partnership with National Institute of Justices of the Republic of Moldova (NIJ) organized the Autumn School on Human Rights, Fundamental Freedoms and the Internet designed for 40 judges and prosecutors selected from all districts of the Republic of Moldova.                                             

This Autumn school was held in the framework of the Handbook development on Internet and Human Rights for National Institute of Justice, by the CoE experts in co-operation with local expert.

The event has been structured and covered the European standards and best practices introduced by the CoE experts as well as the national context and regulation presented by the invited public agencies, on the following chapters: Internet regulation and protection of human rights online, Access and non-discrimination, Right to privacy and data protection, Freedom of expression and information, Assembly, association and participation online, Cybersecurity and surveillance, Copyright and trademark protection, Effective remedies.

The event has been organised within the framework of the joint CoE/EU Program “Strengthening the respect for human rights in the implementation of the Republic of Moldova's Digital Agenda”.
